The name Revna, derived from the Old Norse word for “Raven,” pays homage to the legendary ravens Huginn and Muninn.

As with all Black Raven Armours, this body armour not only performs as any real armour should but also provides exceptional comfort due to its layered leather design. This ensures that blows are effectively dulled, proving that the Revna is not just for show but also offers combat readiness and a sense of history.

The Revna Body is one of the most combat-practical designs to come out of our studios. With a slightly shorter body, it’s ideal for riders and those who prefer more movement at the waist. It fits chest sizes ranging from 36 to 40 inches & 40 to 44 inches.

This armour, which includes protection for the main body, features: Hand cut, hand embossed, stitched, riveted, dyed, and antiqued craftsmanship Embossed, gilded panelling & detailed edge embossing Extensive scale details and edge binding on all potentially vulnerable areas, making it one of our toughest armours yet

LARP Armours : All of our LARP Armours are a minimum of 3.2 to  mm - 1/8 to 9/64 Inch - 8 to 10 oz Thickness, this is perfect for LARP and Cosplay events where any "combat" that occurs is non lethal and typically involves rubber covered foam weapons with plastic, or fiberglass cores. SCA Armours : All of our SCA armours are laminated to a minimum 6.5 mm- 1/4 Inch - 16 oz Thickness, many also have a degree of water hardening, this combination of hardened laminated leather is ideally suited to SCA and HEMA combat
